The Great House Hunt of 2017 (Day Three)

Today's search brings us to Fernandina Beach.

It has THIS going for it.

There were also three HOUSES to check out.

Two didn't make the initial cut.
One was WAY, WAY out of town and the other wasn't even built yet.

The third one made the street view cut.
We just needed to get inside to take a better look.
Very small, but right location and really cute.

Apparently we aren't the only ones to think so.
When we spoke to the realtor, they accepted an offer.....
just before we called.

Before heading off to supper,
we stopped by to have a chat with David.

He was checking out dinner options.

And, doing a bit of knitting.
Dude is the S-L-O-W-E-S-T knitter ever.
Not much of a conversationalist either.
What happened next made us think twice about whether we really *should*
move to Amelia Island.

Apparently the island is rift with ....
...pickpockets.

  1. Hello, the last house is cute. I guess there are a lot of buyers out there right now. Love the statue and the cute pickpocket. Enjoy your day and the week ahead!

  2. That is one cute pickpocketer (is that a word??)! Too bad about that last house...it does look cute. I believe, though, things happen for a reason. Your house will be revealed...just hope it's not too long!

  3. That is an adorable house - too bad it got snatched up.
I think I could live with those pickpockets.
